An established Dallas-based production company is seeking an exceptional Producer's Assistant / Production & Development Coordinator to work directly alongside active producers developing and producing a growing slate of streaming series, feature films, documentaries, unscripted programming, branded content, and commercial productions.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a recent graduate looking to launch a long-term career in producing, production management, development, or the entertainment industry.
We're looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and excited to help keep multiple productions and business initiatives moving forward. This isn't simply an executive assistant position, it's an opportunity to become an integral part of a fast-paced production company.
You'll gain hands-on experience across every stage of production, including development, financing, production, post-production, distribution, streaming, business development, and company operations.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage multiple streaming, film, television, and commercial projects simultaneously
• Track deadlines, deliverables, logistics, budgets, project milestones, and production timelines
• Help organize and manage multiple moving pieces while ensuring projects stay on schedule
• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of a production office
• Manage executive calendars, scheduling, travel coordination, and meeting preparation
• Coordinate production planning, logistics, vendor relationships, and crew outreach
• Able to successfully manage multiple priorities while remaining calm under pressure
• Research locations, grants, tax incentives, vendors, equipment, industry contacts, and business opportunities
• Assist with decks, presentations, proposals, and business development materials
• Coordinate meetings, document action items, and ensure timely follow-through
• Communicate professionally with clients, investors, executives, talent, vendors, and crew
• Organize production documents, contracts, digital assets, and internal workflows
• Assist on set during productions as needed
• Anticipate challenges, solve problems, and help keep projects moving forward
Ideal Candidate
• Recent college graduate
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field
• No prior professional industry experience required. We value work ethic, professionalism, organization, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
• Passionate about building a career in film, television, and digital media
• Exceptionally organized with outstanding attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
• Comfortable working occasional evenings, weekends, and limited travel when productions require it
Preferred Software Experience
Working knowledge of the following is strongly preferred:
• Microsoft Office
• Canva
• Slack and/or Monday
• AI productivity tools, Adobe Creative Cloud are not required but a plus
